MTV’s Video Music Awards took place last night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. There was good, there was bad and then there was Miley. What a 180 from the Miley Cyrus the world saw through her spread with Harper’s Bazaar for the September issue. Her performance was, as she would like to say, ratchet. She twerked it out all over Robin Thicke and was really loving that foam hand and those strange teddy bears. It was shocking, raunchy and very awkward.
Here’s some advice Miley… start keeping your tongue in your mouth.
Now onto my favorite performances and outfits of the night:
N SYNC REUNION!
Do I even have to say anything about this?? Even if they were on for about 30 seconds it was such a huge highlight for the night and Justin Timberlake’s medley was by far the best performance of the night.

This dress is too stunning not to be on a Best Dressed list but it was too ‘Oscary’ for the MTV VMA’s. Also, this isn’t really her style – I would expect this gown on Beyoncé.

Everything about Nervos’ outfit choices is amazing!
Some of the WORST dressed in my opinion were:
Riff Raff in…. who cares. EW! He’s always dressed terrible, so I expected nothing less than HOT MESS.
Someone get Willow & Jaden Smith a stylist!

Miley was insane! But she definitely got herself more noticed that she isn’t a baby anymore. Justin Timberlake and NSYNC were amazing.
Def. a more grown up Miley for sure.
Miley is starting to get on my nerves! I want to like her, but it’s hard. Major cry for attention if you ask me!
I really do like her but it does seem a little overboard – we get it, she’s not a kid anymore… but being grown doesn’t mean putting on barely there clothing and shaking your butt everywhere.
Hahaha after watching Miley dance around wearing nothing I almost turned it off! Even my daughter goes to me “Mum thats disgusting she looks really wierd!” Glad Im not the only one who thought it looked cheap! Thought JT and Kanye did a good job 🙂

I usually love Taylor’s style, but I think the makeup makes her look “older.” I didn’t want the VMAs though, so maybe its just the picture. I kind of wish I had seen the Miley situation.

Miley was definitely terrible. I felt like I was watching a dirty movie with a child as the “actress.” Ew.
Even though she’s “grown” now – she does still look like a kid so it’s very awkward.
Foxy Brown needs to put about 12″ of that hair back on the shelf at Sally’s where it came from.
And Joan Smalls looks exquisite! Perfectly dressed for the VMA’s, classy yet a little casual.
I was shocked by Miley. What’s with all the tongue action? I am trying to watch it on YouTube but I think she’s permanently banned here in the Middle East. And, rightfully so.
