Wedge Sneakers: FUN Trend or FUNny looking?
My first thought when I saw that Wedge Sneakers were making a comeback: How could anyone think that putting a platform inside of a shoe that is used for active wear could be “cute” or stylish at all!
Am I the only one who instantly thinks of the Spice Girl shoes that were SO IN during the 90’s?
After I got over my initial ill-favored reaction (which I want to note took many months) I actually started to see some cute ones and now I’m torn on how I feel about them. I have yet to purchase a pair though, I think they would just go unused and this year I plan to not purchase things that are going to just sit in the closet.
Here are some of my finds:
Forever 21 – Floral Wedge Sneaker $38
Forever 21 – Black Faux Suede Wedge Sneaker $40
Jeffrey Campbell – ‘Teramo’ Sneaker $240
Ash – Colorblock Lace Up Wedge Sneaker $250
Go Jane – Leopard Wedge Sneaker $32
How do you feel about Wedge Sneakers?
If you own a pair – what is your favorite type of outfit to pair them with?
Welcome to January!
Cheers to a new month & a new year…
May it be filled with good health, wealth, love, travels and self accomplishments.
For my NYE nail look – I decided to go with Pink & Glitter!
Main Polish: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Back to the Fuchsia
Accent Polish: Sinful Colors in Frenzy
What color & design did you go with for your NYE look?
LOL – now that is some great New Year’s Resolution humor!
Thirty days ago I decided to get back into Blogging.
The decision was mainly based on my love for writing and the fact that I was disappointed that I strayed away from it in the last couple of years – especially after telling myself that my dream was to have a book published by the time I was 30. I think that being published is the ultimate desire for anyone who enjoys writing. I started this blog with no expectations except to post about things that I love – travel, shopping, food, quotes… (the list goes on) and hope that just a few people would be interested.
In 30 days I’ve had :
-over 2,800 views
-from over 70 countries
-and gained over 225 followers
My intentions are not to win the Nobel Prize for blogs but just to write to entertain, inform and if I’m lucky enough – to inspire.
