Before getting pregnant I never really thought about what an adjustment shopping would be once I was sporting a baby bump. I didn’t really POP until 25 weeks so I was able to wear my pre-pregnancy tops with maternity skinny jeans or my regular dresses with no issues. I’m now 33 weeks and it’s a total different ball game. Here’s a look at some of my favorite maternity & non maternity pieces any prego can pull off!

JSjeans

Jessica Simpson Maternity Distressed Skinny Jeans – $49.00

I live in these skinnys and always receive compliments when I have them on. Most people are surprised to hear they are actual maternity jeans.

F21

Jersey Knit T-Shirt Dress – $23.00

I’ve always been a big fan of Forever21. There’s not many shops that have larger sizes that are in trend at affordable prices. This particular piece is from the Contemporary line which runs about 1/2-1 full size larger. I purchased this dress in 2 colors, both in Large, and they fit amazing and I still have room to grow in them. This dress is perfect for showing off your bump while staying comfortable.

PBM

Ivory Printed Maxi Dress – sale $42

PBM2

Black Cream Print Maxi Skirt – sale $41

I recently received both of these items from my friends over at Pink Blush Maternity and I cannot wait to share the pictures and fit with you. This is the perfect shop for you Mom’s to be! They have a large variety of everything maternity from maxi dresses, to tanks, accessories and even hospital robes.

asos

Asos Maternity Essentials Pack – $81.00

Black is always my go to color so this variety pack is a must for me. You receive 4 pieces that can be worn dozens of ways and each piece is super comfy. Add a necklace or cardigan to the dress to achieve an evening look or throw on the leggings with a flowy colorful top for a fun on the go day look. Your options are endless.

HM2HM3HM4

All 3 of these dress are from H&M Maternity and are all under $25! I highly recommend H&M Maternity for affordable, trendy and fabulous maternity wear. From basics to a night out on the town – they have it all.

LOS ANGELES, CA - JULY 10: Singer Gwen Stefani attends Harajuku Lovers #PopElectric High Tea at The Ebell Club of Los Angeles on July 10, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Stefanie Keenan/Getty Images for BeautyCon)

BeautyCon Digital Influencers filled the tea party at the Ebell Theatre put on by icon Gwen Stefani. Gwen wanted to celebrate her line Harajuku Lovers with the whose who of YouTube. Over 90 YouTube stars were invited to high tea with Gwen Stefani where guests could meet her and her children, check out the 5 fragrances of Harajuku Lovers line, and nosh on yummy desserts and sip on tea drinks and lemonade. Gwen walked in as her parents were already there with her two youngest children. She arrived with eldest Kingston and immediately assessed the tea party. Gwen went right up to the famous you tubers, such as Kandee Johnson and Bunny Meyer, and immediately got to know them.  Gwen mentioned that 20 years ago no one would have ever have thought YouTube digital stars would be so influential, or even knew how important social networks would be. She wanted to celebrate her line with the influencers of the digital world because she understands how important it is to have your own voice while creating content. Gwen continued to advocate that people need to celebrate themselves, and that we need to be proud of the creators we are.  Gwen’s children had a great time, they enjoyed crafts while Gwen Mingled. Gwen made it a point to take a photo with every digital influencer who attended, she answered every Q&A, she even took the entire family and her entertainment team into the photo booth for a group shot. Gwen was the last to leave. She stayed until the party was over with her family. She is humble, nice, direct, beautiful, and down to earth – something you rarely see in a megastar. She is an example of “hard work pays off”.

I know what you’re thinking… Shareen, it’s Monday! Unfortunately due to the beautiful NJ weather and the numerous amount of inches we have accumulated over the last month or so, this post is a little late but regardless it’s a Throwback to one of my favorite Style Icons – Brigitte Bardot. She is known as the Queen of Boho Chic. This style has made a big come back especially during Festival season. What I love most about the Boho look is that you can dress it up or down and still look super chic.

How cute is this dress from boohoo.com?! This dress screams Brigitte Bardot and 60’s/70’s fashion to me. It’s feminine, flowy and floral. I would have loved to pair this dress with a cute pair of sandals but since it’s freezing here – I paired it with over the knee boots, a black bag and a braided thin belt to clinch the waist.

I wanted to show you how versatile a piece like this could be so here are two other ways you can style this type of dress.

Some other celebrities who rock the Boho Chic look flawlessly would be Nicole Richie, Kate Moss & Mary-Kate Olsen. This style is timeless and I don’t see it going away anytime soon. Click HERE to shop more 70’s fashion with boohoo.com.

Thank you boohoo.com for sponsoring this Style Icon inspired post!

I have really been loving the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure collection. I have yet to find another polish that applies so smoothly and last as long as these.

Main Polish: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Color, Trouble Maker

Accent Polish: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Color, I Lilac You

For this weeks manicure I also used my dotting tool. I really love incorporating it with my weekly manicures because it’s SO easy to use and can turn a plain manicure into something more creative. THIS is the dotting tool I own.

Here is the finished look:
