I’m sure some of you remember me raving about the Fall Style Must Have Special Edition box a while back and how excited I was about the sneak peek of the Rachel Zoe ring. Well… it has arrived!
Here are the goodies included in the Special Edition Box.
Cynthia Vincent Class Shopper Bag in Leopard – Retail $85
Rachel Zoe Gold Knot Ring – Retail $75
Library of Flowers Bubble Bath – Retail $36
Christian Lacroix Papier Notebook – Retail $14
Beurre & Sel Rosemary Parmesan Cookies – Retail $10
Goldfaden MD Doxtor’s Scrub Ruby Crystal Microderm Exfoliator – Retail $75
Stila Luxe Eye Shadow Palette – Retail $45
Ok – well, I have mixed feelings about this box. I paid a little over $100 for it and the retail value varies between $275-$330 since I found a few things on sale.
The issue I have is I purchased this box because of the title:
PopSugar Special Edition Must Have Fall STYLE Box
I feel like it was a little misleading. I purchased this box in hopes that I would get a cool scarf, some accessories or a clutch (hence the name Fall Style) – not bubble bath and cookies. Regardless I absolutely love PopSugar and they always have some great finds. Not all boxes that come out will fit everyone’s taste. I adore My Rachel Zoe Gold Knot Ring and I am crazy in loveee with the Stila Luxe Eye Shadow Palette. The colors are long-lasting and bold. The microderm exfoliators was a great addition to the box and I ended up gifting this product to my mother because she is really into exfoliators. Also, while I love everything Cynthia Vincent – I wouldn’t spend $85 for her Classic Shopper but I’m glad it was put in the box and it will definitely get some use 🙂
Did you get this special edition box? If so, what were your feelings on it?
This definitely was one of the most anticipated collections….
Phillip Lim for Target!
The official launch was today, September 15th. Stores opened at 8am and Target left everyone up in the air about the actual time the collection would be released online. I followed #PhillipLimforTarget on Twitter starting at 11pm and it was the best decision ever! Pieces slowly started to become live even though the website home page was not showing it but these people provided links so you could instantly access the merchandise. I was able to add a few things to my cart and leave them there until the purses, which was the 1 item I absolutely needed were available. The taupe Mini Satchel was the first purse released and I instantly added it to a few other items I had stored in my cart and checked out. Since Target offers free shipping with a $50 purchase I figured just to check out and go back and place another order if and when the other items I wanted were released. At 4am the full collection was LIVE! Some people literally stared at their screens and refreshed their computers for hours but luckily… I was able to get some sleep and set alarms to get up and check every so often. It paid off since I was able to purchase everything on my wish list.
Here is what I got:
Here is a look at some of the other pieces in this collection:

How did you feel about the style on the red carpet?
I find myself constantly digging through my clothes and pulling out things to donate and give away. I almost feel like a hoarder… I have clothes from about 8 years ago that STILL have tags on them. At the time I absolutely needed that outfit or pair of shoes yet they just end up sitting in the closet. I started to realize how many of them still had tags and were brand new so I went searching for a website that I could possibly start to sell my clothes to make some money back and that is when I stumbled across POSHMARK!
Basically you just have to sign up using your iphone or ipad and you get to browse through thousands of closets. They have everything from hi end brands (Chanel, Gucci, Kate Spade etc.) to your basic everyday store (Target, Macys, Mandee etc.) I started a closet and if your interested in seeing what I have for sale – just click the “Shop My Closet” icon on the right hand side of my page 🙂 Make sure to sign up at www.poshmark.com on your iphone or ipad and enter code: HFDUO to receive $5 in credit!
