Black Friday is approaching and while that means scooping up the newest Lego set, TV or gaming system for some – I, as well as many other Wanderlusters, are anxiously waiting to find out if their will be any good travel deals.

While traveling is amazing and I highly encourage it for EVERYONE – it can be pricey, so I am always on the look out for great flight specials. Last year I scored a stay via Expedia‘s Cyber Monday sale at the amazing Condado Vanderbilt Hotel in San Juan for 1/2 price and was able to use a $75 off Thanksgiving coupon on top of that by booking through their app.

This year it looks as Black Friday/Cyber Monday came early. Thanks to Secret Flying I was informed about a MAJOR flight sale between the US & Europe. I’m talking Round Trip flights for $400-$500 to multiple European destinations!

Check about Secret Flying’s article HERE and then go search the airlines website directly! (Delta, AA etc.)

Just an FYI: it seems as United as jumped on the bandwagon because I just scored a non stop RT flight from Newark to my beloved Paris for $418! This same flight was over $700 just a few days ago and normally that flight would be about $1,000.

If you take advantage of this sale, let me know where you booked and if you need any recommendations on where you should head to – shoot me an e-mail.

HAPPY TRAVELING!

It’s no surprise that I’m a fan of L’Oreal lippies. They always seem to have the best formula and the fact that I can pick it up from my local drugstore (& who doesn’t love a good drugstore find?!) is a plus! A while back they came out with a limited Colour Riche Collection called La Vie En Rose. It’s made up of 6 perfect sheer pink matte shades that can compliment all skin tones.

I was able to get 3 of the 6 shades to swatch them for you.

So, what do you think about this collection? I noticed these 3 shades on my skin tone were pretty similar yet you could still tell them apart. I’m a fan of all three but, 705 / Jennifer Lopez, is my favorite and seems perfect for the Fall. Which of these shades is your favorite?

I’ve had oily hair for as long as I could remember. I was never the type of girl who was able to keep a blow out for more than 1 day without spraying some sort of dry shampoo in before restyling. I was recently able to test out 2 products from DESSANGE Paris.

The Purifying Clay Pre-Shampoo Mask targets oily scalps. The formula, containing mineral clay concentration, works to absorb sebum excess and regulate oil production over time while the professional application brush allows for targeted, even coverage. They recommend this mask being used once a week on dry hair. You generously apply to the roots, leave on for 5-10 minutes then rinse. You follow this process up with the Purifying Clay Balancing Shampoo. The pro-vitamin b5 enhanced balancing shampoo, helps to minimize oily roots while moisturizing ends, producing balanced hair from root to tip. The pro-vitamin b5 is known for its protective properties of the fiber capillary, helping repair and soften the hair.

I’ve been using this 2 step system for a few weeks now and I’m really happy with the results. My hair in general just feels so much cleaner but best of all, I’ve noticed a decrease in oil production. Both products have a really great smell which is always a plus!

This line is sold exculsive at Target nationwide.

If you tuned into the Latin Grammys last night, you saw how stunning Genesis Rodriguez & Zoe Saldana looked on the red carpet.  Well L’Oreal is sharing with you all how to get those looks at home!

Makeup Artist: L’Oreal Paris Celebrity Makeup Artist, Claudia Betancur

STEP 1: Claudia first prepped her face with L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur ($24.99) which works as a great primer before foundation.
STEP 2: To compliment Genesis’ gold gown, they went for a sultry smoky eye. Claudia first applied a beige toned shade on the lid of the eye. For depth, she applied a dark brown shade from the L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude 2 ($15.99) on the outer corner of the eye and blend inward stopping halfway.
Claudia’s Tip: When creating a smoky eye, begin with the eyes first and then focus on skin as shadow tends to fall.
STEP 3: To bring the smoky eye to life, Claudia drew a subtle cat eye wing. She used the new L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Superstar Liner ($9.99) which has a flexible felt tip. She completed the eye with mascara, L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Superstar Mascara ($10.99).
STEP 4: For a matte finish, she applied the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Matte Foundation ($14.99).
STEP 5: She added a shimmery glow on top of the apple of the cheeks with L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Powder Illuminator in N 202 Rose ($12.99).
Claudia’s Tip: Use a fan brush to have more control on where the powder lands.
STEP 6: She completed the look with a glossy nude lip pen that also fits perfectly in a clutch: L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche La Lacque Lip Pen in 209 Choco-Lacque ($9.99).

Makeup Artist: Vera Steimberg

STEP 1: First, Vera applied L’Oréal Paris Youth Code All-In-One Skin Illuminator ($17.99) on her cheek bones, brow bone, nose and upper lip to prep the skin with a glow.
STEP 2: For the eyes, she used the very tip of the NEW L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Superstar Liner ($9.99) on her top inner eyelids to connect the lashes with almost an invisible line.
STEP 3: Vera used the darkest brown shade from the L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude in 01 ($19.99) on the inner corner of the eye near the tear duct and the bottom lash line, creating a V-shape. She layered the shimmery champagne shade in the inner corner of the eye as well. On the lid, she used L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator in C302 Ice ($12.99), for a radiant glow.
STEP 4: Next she applied primer from the NEW double-ended L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Superstar Mascara ($9.99) and applied two coats of mascara to the top and bottom lashes, for a romantic 40’s look.
STEP 5: To illuminate her skin, Vera applied L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator in N201 Rose ($12.99) on her brow bone, nose and cupid’s bow.
STEP 6: For the lips, Vera went for a natural toned lip and mixed L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Le Matte Lip Pen in 104 Game, Set & Matte and layered 102 She’s so Matte on top and dabbed with her fingers to blend.
STEP 7: To complete her look, she sprayed L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Spray & Set Makeup Extender Setting Spray ($16.99) to help her makeup last all through the night.
