A new EXCLUSIVE Limited Edition PopSugar Must Have Box is on sale!

PopSugar has teamed up with Neiman Marcus and for $250 (ekkkkk!) you will receive 8 items, including items from Jonathan Adler and Le Métier de Beauté, that total up to $600. They did offer a sneak pick of one of the items that will be included:

Chevron-Patterned Knit Throw

This throw retails for $195 on the Neiman Marcus website so that means you will get 7 other items that have a combined value of $405. Eh… The thought of that is just not promising and there were no other sneak peeks given.

So ladies… tell  me what you think about this box.

Are you IN or OUT?

Unfortunately, I’m out. I just can’t justify spending $250 + tax on this box but I do look forward to seeing what it includes 🙂

I’ve been seeing the Dole Fruit Smoothie Shakers in the grocery store lately and have been so interested in trying them so I picked up a few last week.

1 word — AMAZING.

I love the whole no blender concept!

There are currently 4 flavors: Mixed Berry, Peach Mango, Strawberry & Strawberry Banana. Each serving prepared with 7 oz of juice is under 200 calories and they have a ton of other benefits. They are made with all natural fruit, low in fat, rich in dietary fiber, and are a great source of calcium and Vitamin C.

Dole Shakers

Remove your Dole shaker from the freezer, when you open the lid you will see colorful frozen fruit and yogurt pieces. It’s important to remember to let it sit out for a little so the frozen pieces can defrost. If not – you will get clumps of frozen fruit and yogurt in your smoothie (yuck!) Once defrosted, pour your juice of choice up to the Fill Zone. Close the lid and shake, shake, shake for about 45 seconds. That’s it – super easy and quick and you  have a delicious smoothie at hand. This is perfect for mornings when you are on the go or just need an afternoon pick me up. I love that with the 4 flavors you really have so many varieties of smoothies just by different juices. They can be purchased at your local grocery market and retail for about $2.99 each but they always have a sale on them so I usually get them for about $1.50 each.

Have you tried the Smoothie Shakers ? If so – what do you think about them?

I understand the frustration of trying to get those waterproof mascaras off your lashes at the end of a long day so I wanted to share with you what I use. I have tried numerous brands, both drug store as well as a little more high-end such as Lancôme and MAC and there is only one that I am super in LOVE with.

Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover from the Sephora Collection

Sephora

The photo on the left is how the remover looks on a daily basis when just left on a counter. You can see the separation of the oil/water ingredients. A lot of people would argue it is not good to use oil based products on your face but for this particular product – I would have to disagree. I have very sensitive skin as well as oily and have never had an issue with it. In fact; oil based removers are one of the only and most common things used to remove waterproof makeup products.  The photo on the right shows what it looks like after being shaken right before use.

A little goes a long way with this bottle. I just squirt a few drops on a cotton pad and gently wipe my eyelashes as well as my eyebrows. Waterproof mascaras are my everyday go to so it’s nice not to have to scrub and damage my eyelashes to remove it anymore. The liquid is very delicate and does not irritate the eyes. It also contains a complex rich in flavonoids and olive extracts that is said to strengthen lashes and Procapil which promotes lash growth.

With a retail of: $6 for a 1.69 oz bottle (perfect for traveling) and $9.50 for a 4.2 oz bottle, this product is a lot more affordable than some other brands and works incredible! If you would like more information on this product click HERE to view all the Q’s & A’s.

A few months ago I was introduced to a new brand of nail polish by my IPSY bag subscription.

Sation Nail Lacquer by Miss Professional Nail

The color I received was called: Of Corset I’ll Call You

sation

sation2

I’m a huge fan of pink polishes but this one is so different from any I own. It goes on the nail so smoothly and the color is beyond beautiful. To have a more stand out color, I do recommend putting on a 3rd coat. This polish last and does not chip quickly at all which is always a great quality in polishes. Also – on tan skin, it looks even better!

I am so excited about this brand and cannot wait to purchase some more of the colors. They retail at $5 on the Miss Professional website, yet they have the quality of a $10 polish!

Main Polish: Sinful Colors in Ruby Ruby

I went simple & chic for this weeks manicure.

RED!

Actually the most fabulous red I’ve found to date and the best part about the Sinful Colors collection… they retail at $1.99
