Over the last month I’ve been experimenting with Revlon ‘Limited Edition’ Chalkboard Nail Art Collection polish in OverAchiever. Click HERE to view my initial post about this collection. I am absolutely in love with the black matte, which appeared to have a semi satin finish. It dried quickly and was not streaky after 2 coats. I also loved the pink side of the polish but I didn’t feel it really stood out compared to the other Nail Paint I used. I felt myself going over the design a few times before seeing the pastel pink pop. I was surprised to find out that this polish did not chip as fast as other matte polishes. My only complaint is that I can see myself going through the black pretty quickly and wish the bottle was slightly larger. I definitely plan to check out some of the other colors.

Here are a few different ways I styled my manicure with this collection from Revlon.

What do you think? Which of these looks is your favorite?

While browsing the beauty aisle at CVS yesterday I came across this awesome display and was instantly intrigued. I’m a sucker for a good matte polish… so add a pop of color to that and I’m sold.

“Master the trend with a matte black base and pop of pastel.”

The collection comes in 8 different pastel colors accompanied by a black matte polish.

I picked up OverAchiever which is a pastel pink. I love the concept of these polishes so I can’t wait to try this one out this weekend.

Are you familiar with this collection? Love or Hate?

My manicure started chipping so it was time for a fresh coat. I decided to go with a Revlon polish I’ve had for awhile, Revlon Top Speed in Vintage which is a beauty deep berry color. I am looking forward to purchasing some more colors from the Top Speed line. I love how quickly it dried and how it stayed glossy. Even though it contains a built-in top coat, I still finished my manicure with my typical Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat.
