Ruby Ruby is my favorite red polish and I figured if I threw in a nude accent it would really bring the color out. Unfortunately, this manicure did not come out as I had envisioned it would but I wanted to share it with you guys anyway.

Main Polish: Sinful Colors in Ruby Ruby

Accent Polish: Sephora by O.P.I in Leotard Optional

I’m going to try using the colors opposite, I think it might look excellent with Leotard Optional as the main color with an accent of red. I also want to note that I am a big fan of Sinful Colors – the polishes are very affordable at $1.99 and a majority of them have great wear. There is always a few exceptions though, for instance – their mattes aren’t the best and Ruby Ruby while it is my favorite red…. peels so easily. I am constantly having to re paint a nail or do touch ups but since I haven’t found a red to be as true of a color as this one, I stick with it.

While looking through some shots I took last week, I noticed I forgot to upload one of my manicures.

I also added a nail decal on my pointer fingers.

Just an FYI – Just a Little Dangerous does not photograph well. In my photos, it looks blue but it’s true color is a very rich purple. I have included a professional shot the bottle so you can see the real color.

Main Polish: Sephora By O.P.I in Break a Leg-Warmer!

Accent Polish: Sephora By O.P.I in Read My Palm

1st:

I applied my base coat and then gave all my nails 2 coats of Break a Leg-Warmer.

2nd:

I applied a fast dry top coat. Once it dried – I used my Nailene Perfect Tips tape on my ring and pointer fingers to create a half-moon shape.

3rd:

I painted towards the bottom of the  tape on my ring and pointer fingers with 2 coats of Read My Palm.

Finally I reapplied the fast dry top coat to my ring and pointer fingers.

The finished look:
