While this is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Kohl’s and Latina Bloggers Connect, all opinions expressed are my own.

With the crazy weather we’ve been having here lately in New Jersey, it’s been a little hard to think about warmer days. Either way, my Spring wardrobe needed some sprucing up so I headed to my local Kohl’s. Kohl’s is one of my favorite stores to shop at since you literally can find everything you need there from clothing, to beauty products to home decor.

I naturally gravitated to the Jennifer Lopez and LC Lauren Conrad Collections. They were filled with bright colors, bold prints and really cute styles. As you’ve seen from previous Fashion posts, I tend to lean towards darker clothing and this shopping trip was no different.

I fell in love with this romper from the Jennifer Lopez Collection. It featured a mandarin collar which is super flattering to the neck line and came with a gold accent belt. I loved that it has adjustable sleeves which is perfect for the Spring temperatures. I paired this romper with these super cute Ivory Floral pumps from LC Lauren Conrad. I see myself wearing them a lot the next few months as they are a great neutral staple piece. The floral cut outs are a unique touch and make them so different than your normal everyday shoe.

I was also determined to find a really great outerwear piece for the Spring. I was looking for something that stood out and that would work with various outfits. When my eyes locked onto this dusty rose colored trench from the Jennifer Lopez Collection, I knew it was the one. The color was absolutely gorgeous and it was light weight which was perfect. It’s made from really soft material and the way it flowed while walking made me feel like I was on the runway.

I plan to make another trip to Kohl’s soon as they had some really cute bags and accessories I was eyeing up.

Have you started your Spring shopping? If so, what are some of your must items to have for this season?

I cannot remember the last time I was able to style some pieces then go out and shoot them for Pearls & Paris. It literally has been FOREVER, therefore it felt great to get back out there. One of my best friends has picked up photography and she has a great eye so it was a pleasure to have her shoot me.

I absolutely believe that Leopard is a neutral. It’s a staple print to have in your wardrobe and it blends well with so many shades and colors.

I splurged on these Coach booties because they were truly love at first sight. Once they went on sale, I didn’t think twice about purchasing them. This chunky heel is not only super comfortable but very trendy this season. I’m looking forward to styling these with some fun colors in the upcoming months.

Unfortunately, these Felicia booties in leopard have sold out BUT if you like the style and shape, they are still available in black.

I know what you’re thinking… Shareen, it’s Monday! Unfortunately due to the beautiful NJ weather and the numerous amount of inches we have accumulated over the last month or so, this post is a little late but regardless it’s a Throwback to one of my favorite Style Icons – Brigitte Bardot. She is known as the Queen of Boho Chic. This style has made a big come back especially during Festival season. What I love most about the Boho look is that you can dress it up or down and still look super chic.

How cute is this dress from boohoo.com?! This dress screams Brigitte Bardot and 60’s/70’s fashion to me. It’s feminine, flowy and floral. I would have loved to pair this dress with a cute pair of sandals but since it’s freezing here – I paired it with over the knee boots, a black bag and a braided thin belt to clinch the waist.

I wanted to show you how versatile a piece like this could be so here are two other ways you can style this type of dress.

Some other celebrities who rock the Boho Chic look flawlessly would be Nicole Richie, Kate Moss & Mary-Kate Olsen. This style is timeless and I don’t see it going away anytime soon. Click HERE to shop more 70’s fashion with boohoo.com.

On September 4th, Katie Holmes came out to celebrate Old Navy’s partnership with Joe Zee and introduce him as the brand’s Style Ambassador for the Fall. Katie wore an Old Navy Long Sleeved Poplin Shirt for $24.94 and paired it with her own Acme Jeans and Isabel Marant heels. Other guests at the party included Hilary Rhoda, Joe Zee, June Ambrose and Jay Emmanuel.

Katie Holmes even joined in on the fun of applying some temporary flash tattoos on the back of her neck and arm at the event.

Saturday night I had the pleasure of attending the Lobster De Mayo event. This event was hosted by The Food Network’s: Katie Lee and was held at Capitale in NYC. It was a showcase for many premier New York restaurants to prepare and share an evening of lobster inspired dishes and since Patron sponsored the event – the tequila was flowing.

Here was my outfit for the night:
